Welcome to CLUB IDEAL! These terms and conditions apply to your membership in CLUB IDEAL, a loyalty program for Ideal of Sweden, a Swedish company with company registration number 556889-7994, (“IDEAL”, “we”, “us”). By becoming a member in CLUB IDEAL you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

The membership in CLUB IDEAL is free of charge and you do not need to make a purchase to become a member. You may cancel your membership at any time.

These Terms solely apply to CLUB IDEAL, terms and conditions for purchases (e.g. delivery information, return right and warranty) is set out in our general terms and conditions .

To become a member of CLUB IDEAL, you need to be at least 18 years old. Only individual persons may become members in the loyalty program, we do not accept companies or other legal persons as members.

The membership is personal, and your membership will be connected to the email address you have used to register as a member. As a member, you are responsible to ensure that your contact information, for example email address and phone number, is correct and up to date.

As a CLUB IDEAL member, we will provide you with exclusive offers from us and you will also earn bonus points on your purchases from IDEAL OF SWEDEN. 

Bonus points

When you become a member, you earn bonus points on your purchases from us. In order for the bonus points to be registered on your membership, you need to be logged into your account on our website when you make the purchase. You earn 10 bonus points per EUR spent (1 EUR = 10 bonus points). Earned bonus points will be registered on your account 14 days after the purchase. The bonus points earned in connection with a purchase will be adjusted if you choose to return the items purchased, cancelled purchases do not qualify for bonus points.

You can earn extra points by participating in bonus entitling activities on our website, for example by following us on social media, telling us which phone model you use or which products you prefer.

When you have earned 1,000 bonus points, a bonus voucher of EUR 5 will be issued and available on your membership account. Bonus vouchers are valid for a period of six months from the date of issuance. If you choose to return a product purchased with a bonus voucher, the discount advantage received through the bonus voucher (i.e. the value of the bonus voucher) expires. Only the amount paid for the product will be refunded, not the savings from the bonus voucher. If you return an order where the bonus voucher has been used, the earned bonus voucher will be considered consumed.   

The bonus points you have earned are personal and cannot be transferred to another person. Your bonus points are valid for as long as you stay a member of CLUB IDEAL and earned bonus points do not expire while your membership is active. Purchases you have made from us prior to becoming a member of the loyalty program do not qualify for bonus points. 

Offers and marketing

As a member, we will provide you with general and personalized offers as well as exciting news from us. You may at any time update your preferences on what type of communication you wish to receive from us by logging into your membership account available on idealofsweden.com. If you no longer wish to receive marketing messages from us you may unsubscribe by following the link in the e-mail or text message you have received, or by contacting us at [email protected].

Your membership in CLUB IDEAL is valid until further notice and you may cancel your membership at any time by contacting our customer service team at [email protected]. If you have not made a purchase, logged into your account or used your bonus points during a consecutive period of 24 months, your membership will be automatically cancelled, and your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy . When the membership has been cancelled, any earned points connected to your membership will be forfeited. We reserve the right to cancel your membership and remove your account at any time if we suspect that the membership is being misused or that you have otherwise breached these Terms.

As a member of CLUB IDEAL, we will process your personal data to manage your membership and provide you with the benefits connected to your membership, more information about how we process your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy .

We reserve the right to at any time make amendments to these Terms. We will notify you 30 days in advance of any substantial changes to the Terms, and you may cancel your membership if you do not accept the updated Terms.

IDEAL OF SWEDEN will not be liable for any damage as a consequence of your inability to use your membership due to system failure or other circumstances outside of our control. We accept no liability for any loss or damage in connection with suspension or termination of your membership, or in any other way in relation to CLUB IDEAL, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are resident in another country, these Terms may be subject to mandatory consumer protections laws in your country of residence which may provide you with additional rights.

If you have any complaints about CLUB IDEAL and we are unable to resolve this, you can submit a complaint to the EU's functioning dispute settlement online, ODR. You can find more information on: http://ec.europa.eu/odr .
